Pink & Blue Slips

We Provide Both Pink And Blue Slip Inspections At Our Mayne Street Auto Garage

While both services involve comprehensive full vehicle inspections, they serve different purposes. A pink slip is issued by us, proving that your car has passed the required roadworthy standards for registration. In NSW, vehicles that are more than 5 years old are required to go through the pink slip process as part of registration renewal. 

A blue slip can be issued to prove that an unregistered vehicle is safe prior to registration. This is particularly useful for cars whose registration expired more than 3 months ago, cars that have been brought into NSW from interstate or overseas, and cars that were previously written off.
